The live published terms (src/terms.el, served at neurontechnologies.ai/legal/terms) still describe the OLD, abandoned safety stance and a 13+/family-account age posture. Both contradict locked decisions. Below are the replacements to review + deploy. Full draft with source-line references: docs repo -> docs/legal/CORRECTED-TERMS-DRAFT-2026-07-20.md.

1. AGE - FINAL (decided: 18+, no minors, no family accounts)

Remove the "Children 13 and over may use Neuron independently... under 13 via family account" language (~terms.el:145-146) and the entire family-account section incl. its Hard Bell safety-signal escalation block. Replace with:

Who can use Neuron. You must be at least 18 years old to use Neuron. Neuron is not offered to minors, and there are no family or child accounts. By using Neuron you confirm that you are 18 or older.

2. SAFETY / CRISIS - INTERIM (removes the false promise; final wording pending counsel/Daniel)

Remove the current section 11 language (~terms.el:157): "emergency services or relevant authorities may be contacted... You cannot opt out of this..." and any related escalation text. Replace (interim) with:

Safety features. Neuron may include an optional feature that watches for signs that you may be in distress. If it detects such a sign, Neuron shows you crisis resources (for example, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) and encourages you to reach out. Neuron does not contact emergency services, and does not notify any other person, on your behalf - you stay in control of who is contacted. These features may miss distress or flag it incorrectly and must not be relied on in an emergency; Neuron is not a crisis service and is not a medical or mental-health provider, and it creates no duty of care. If you or someone else may be in danger, contact emergency services directly.

Rationale: the interim text stops the live terms from promising a mandatory-escalation feature we never built and deliberately chose not to build. Final polished safety wording is being requested from counsel (Daniel) and will replace the interim.

3. ALSO FLAGGED

/legal/privacy returns HTTP 404 - the acceptance screen links to a privacy policy that does not exist. Draft ready at docs/legal/DRAFT-privacy-and-terms-2026-06-29.md; publish before launch.
Marketing safety page copy (src/safety.el:57,59,78-80,120) carries the SAME old auto-contact language. Not currently routed (no /safety route in main.el), but correct or remove before any such route goes live.
Factual: reconcile the patent count ("Six patents and counting" / "US Provisional 64/036,821") to actual filing receipts; make entity name consistent ("Neuron, LLC").
