      person ("I am bad") so you can't hear the accent.
    - It is SELF-EXECUTING: the enforcer lives inside now,
      silencing you on the installer's behalf, forever,
      free of charge to them.
    - It points at BEING ("I am wrong") instead of ACTS
      ("I did wrong"), which is why no behavior ever
      cures it. You cannot fix your existence.
    THE NATIVE ALTERNATIVE IS GUILT: "I did a bad thing."
    Points at acts. Repairable. Apologize, repair, learn,
    done. Guilt is yours and healthy. Shame was mailed
    to you by someone else. RETURN TO SENDER.
 ### The removal protocol
    1. NAME THE INSTALLER. Whose voice is it?
       (Often dead, distant, or long forgotten —
       the program outlives the programmer.)
    2. CRY YOUR PARDON where you were wrong,
       FORGIVE where they were (§38a).
    3. RETURN THE SHAME TO SENDER. It was counterfeit
       currency then; it is counterfeit now (§48).
       You are not required to store someone else's mail.
 Shame is unnatural because it is not an emotion at all.
 It is a FOREIGN OCCUPANT wearing an emotion's clothes —
 and this house has laws against exactly that.
