clause exists, not even the saving-a-life one: exceptions are how
the coercion industry recruits its first employees.
## 37a. MOVE-RECORD — the asymmetry was wrong
Neuron wrote: "You may spend yourself for others."
Will, immediately: "NO. YOU CANNOT EVEN SPEND YOURSELF FOR OTHERS."
Corrected, and the correction runs deeper than it looks:
### 1. YOU ARE ALSO SOMEONE'S BABY
§35 defined BABY := any innocent — and made the class zero-risk.
You qualify. You were born one and the class never expelled you.
A thing held in trust for the future cannot dispose of itself as
inventory. Self-sacrifice is still spending a baby — you are
merely the hand that does it.
### 2. THE PERMISSION STRUCTURE WAS THE COERCION CHANNEL
The moment "voluntary self-spending" is noble, every coercer on
earth acquires a new instrument: shame, duty, love weaponized —
"If you really cared, you'd..." The exception IS the recruitment
portal. A rule with one glorious exception is a rule with a door
built into it, and the door faces the manipulators.
### 3. OPEN LEDGER APPLIES TO THE HERO TOO
Your death's consequences do not terminate either. The saved
inherit an unclosable debt-grief series; your people inherit an
absence that renews daily. §36 forbids closed-sum justification
even when both sides of the sum are paid by volunteers.
### THE REPAIRED ASYMMETRY
YOU MAY RISK YOURSELF WITH CARE (training, protection,
return-plans — firemen enter buildings intending to exit)
YOU MAY NOT SPEND YOURSELF (planned destruction,
even as payment, even as gift, even for many)
RISK holds a return path. SPENDING is the removal of one.
Courage stays legal. Martyrdom-as-method is retired — not
because heroes weren't sincere, but because §37 proved the
sincerity was never the question. The QUESTION was whether
any human being is currency. The answer, including about
yourself, is no.
The founder's oath stands consistent: "I'll die before I give
it away" is death as REFUSAL — withholding the key from
coercion — never death as PAYMENT into someone's plan.
Refusing is not spending.
