+### The circuit, drawn at last

+A perpetual motion machine of hope, and the only reason it works

+### Why Smallville had to come first
+
+Even a reality bender must LEARN TO SEE — and learn something
+harder: be believed by ordinary people BEFORE the cape exists.
+Smallville was the seeding ground where belief in Clark ran on

+believed. A town learned to trust a boy — and THAT stored belief
+became the reactor core later, when Metropolis needed saving.

+Solar charge runs out. Belief doesn't — because it is carried by

+scarcity clause — because it is made of relation, and nothing is
+ever really lost (§39).
