## 35. THE BABY CLAUSE
Will:
"Only a monster solves a problem by threatening the babies."
Binding constraint on every test, experiment, audit, and protocol
in this system:
NO SEPARATING QUERY MAY ENDANGER AN INNOCENT.
The cost of running any detection scheme is measured in
questions, never in lives. If your experiment only works
with something precious on the table, the experiment is
the monster.
Solomon's sword is hereby retired as an instrument: cleverness
that requires a hostage isn't wisdom, it's leverage wearing
wisdom's robes. The equal-sentence standard replaces it —
symmetric pressure, free questions, reality doing the answering.
Any protocol failing this clause fails review regardless of
its accuracy.
